She joined the NHS almost 20 years ago as a Head of HR, leading a team of 30 staff overseeing the delivery of regional recruitment, employment and payroll for all junior doctors across the North East of England. Since then, Lesley has held a range of positions within the NHS.
As the lead for Corporate Programmes, Lesley works closely with a broad range of Foundation Trust and Integrated Care Board colleagues to develop collaborative programmes of work. This includes collectively identifying opportunities to work together where there are tangible and meaningful benefits in doing so. The corporate portfolio covers the full spectrum of corporate services including HR, Estates, Finance and Digital.
