With over 30 years of experience in the NHS, Julie has worked in senior roles since 1992. She has helped lead and improve healthcare services at national, regional, and local levels, always focusing on better care for patients.
In her current role as Director of Elective Care Recovery and Improvement, she works closely with Managing Director Matt Brown and Chief Executive Lyn Simpson. Together, they lead the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Elective Care and Recovery Programme, aiming to reduce waiting times and improve services for patients across the region.
Her decision to join the NENC Provider Collaborative was driven by a strong desire to make a real difference. She is passionate about improving the NHS and believes that working together is the best way to bring about lasting, positive change for people and communities.
