Nicola’s first role in the NHS was with the North East Ambulance Service in 2014 where she led on Strategic Planning and Performance. Nicola then joined North of England Care System Support as a member of the Consultancy Team and worked with many people across the NHS and local authorities on things such as assurance, financial recovery, system transformation, integration of health and care services and most recently, Elective Recovery for NENC Providers.
As the lead for Elective Care, Nicola works closely with others in the Provider Collaborative team, the Senior Responsible Owner for Elective Care (Lyn Simpson) and all Foundation Trusts.
Nicola enjoys working with the team and the relationships she has made during her time at NENC Providers. She is passionate about providing the best services possible for patients across the North East and North Cumbria.
