Nicola Morrow, Workforce Programme Lead...

Nicola Morrow.jpgNicola is the Workforce Programme Lead for the System Recovery Plan, working within the Corporate Team of the Provider Collaborative. Her role focuses on bringing together staff, plans and systems from NHS trusts across the region to improve how services work together. By sharing tools and ideas, Nicola helps reduce waste, tackle unnecessary differences in care and make sure staff are well supported all while keeping patient care at the heart of everything.

Nicola began her NHS career as a Physiotherapist, working across several trusts in the North East and North Cumbria. After spending over 10 years in Local Authority, she returned to the NHS in 2020. Since then, she has worked as a commissioner, leading programmes in cancer, palliative care and COVID-19 before joining the Collaborative.

She was drawn to the Provider Collaborative because of its potential to drive real change and improve services, outcomes and how the system works. Nicola enjoys working with a wide range of teams and organisations, including clinicians, IT, finance and community partners. Her role allows her to connect people and ideas and she thrives on the variety and challenge it brings. No two days are ever the same.
