County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT) provides hospital and community health services for around 650,000 people across County Durham, Darlington and nearby areas.
More than 7,500 staff work for the Trust. They provide care in hospitals, community settings and people’s homes. Services include emergency care, planned care, specialist treatment, rehabilitation and community support.
The Trust runs services from University Hospital of North Durham, Darlington Memorial Hospital and Bishop Auckland Hospital, as well as a number of community hospitals and local healthcare sites. Teams work closely with other health, care and community organisations to make sure patients receive joined-up care.
