Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust...

Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) provides mental health and learning disability services for people across County Durham and Darlington, Teesside, North Yorkshire, York and Selby.

The Trust supports children, young people, adults and older people. Services range from mental health education and prevention to crisis care, inpatient treatment and specialist support.

More than 7,500 staff work across local communities, hospitals and healthcare sites. They work with patients, families, carers and partner organisations to provide care and support close to home whenever possible.

TEWV is committed to helping people feel safe, supported and understood. The Trust works closely with each person to make sure they have a say in decisions about their care and treatment.

The Trust has a strong focus on recovery and wellbeing. Its teams help people build confidence, improve their mental health and live as independently as possible.

TEWV also works with local communities, universities and health partners to improve services and develop new ways of supporting people. Through research, innovation and partnership working, the Trust aims to make mental health care more accessible and improve outcomes for people across the region.
